Ruby also known as Manik in India is red or pinkish red in color. It is a precious gemstone and can be equal to price of diamond. It is used to enhance the powers of the planet Sun (Surya). It mainly emits red cosmic rays. The Sun is the supreme power of the solar system. The red cosmic rays are heat producing, as they are of the element of fire.
